Why recipient has problem hearing my voice during voice call on some devices or OS?

Please provide the list of devices and OS version here so that we can diagnose the issue. Please also send in the system log and include the description of your problem and we will try our best to get it fix in the coming next releases.

    Sad to say, i have uninstall the YesLife for the time being because it cannot use at all.

    • I have a solution already, tried in 2 phone : Galaxy Tab an HTC sensation XE..
      Download the Adobe AIR, the problem is solved.. :-)

  • Able to sent and received SMS using Yes Life for Android. Able to call out, but no voice on caller and receiver.

    There should be a new built by this week. Potentially this issue will be fixed in some of the devices. We have also improved the system log whereby we should be able to capture more insights to this and find the root cause in all the Android devices and OS in the market. We will try our best to support as much devices as possible.

    Please be patient and we appreciate your help to send the system logs to us. They are incredibly helpful.

    New built was just released, but the actual fix for this issue has just been identified. However, it would be very helpful for us if you can update the latest version 1.2.16 because the new logging system has enabled us to better understand the issue behind all the device and root cause.

    very angry the lousy service provide by YesLife because it cannot use at all.
    wasting my money RM70 (Rm50 + RM20 credit )
    i register for yeslife android because i going vietnam . but at the end using Digi roaming and IDD card
    i email and complain to yeslife and request for refund for the stupid service.. advertising say free to try use.. but register and account RM50...is it stupid yeslife this is call tesing using... is we pay money to help u improve your software...
    and call the customer service center every month need spend RM30.00...if account less than credit and no credit will become negative amount.. very stupid

    1. voice very low. Could not hear clearly
    2. Even the signal is best, but the line is always breaking.

    SMS is Ok. But voice calls, are bad.

    I am using HTC desire with andriod 2.2

    after i email MCMC about my complain .YES direct take action..
    i email MCMC at friday night due to YES dun wan refund . and YES staff call me few time from friday night till sunday. still dun wan refund . but monday morning the way they talk is 360degree different. after discuss . ..noon receieved a call from YES . agree to refund .and refund money will give me within 3-4week . and ask me provide address they will cheque. 2nd day tuesday.. another staff call me . say need me go kl sign refund form.. i dun know they have go school or not. i wan get back rm70.00 and need waste my toll and petrol cost me rm 200.00.. i direct scold them. 3rd day (wednesday) get email from yes For refund form . and email back to them. untill today bei tahan . email them ask. say still in investigation..
    waiting their staff call me..
    they find tons of reason for the refund process....
    and to any 1 face the problem direct complain to http://aduan.skmm.gov.my/
    they will direct take action.. is waste your time complain to YES

  • hmm, i not sure if this is on your server side or the client side, but as far as I remeber, when I 1st use yes life for voice call, it don't have that much of issue on voice problem (except the breaking up sound some time, =.=). But with the same machine and mic, it seem like I have to manually activate the mic/line in boost up (+10 - 20db) so that the other party able to hear my voice, which didn't have problem previously, maybe you guy should check on the backend or server side? As for Yes Life for Android, I have no chances to do so, because I still unable to find anything that able to boost the voice...

    Dear all, please update Yes Life for Android to version 1.2.25 which was released today. If you still have problem not hearing voice call, please send in the system log immediately after the call. There is a potential fix implemented on this built regards to the port too.

    Dear all,

    We have released update 1.2.34 which we have tested with several beta users, and confirmed the intermittent 1 way audio bug has been fixed. Please send in system log if this issue persist on your device.

    Please also note that speakermode during voice calldoes not work on Samsung Galaxy Tab generation 1 GT-1010 (WiFi Only). We have seen it working in all our test devices. This will also be fixed in next release.

    Why after been so long, this issue still remain. I have the problem on my Iphone 4, IOS 7.1.2 (up to date), yes ID : pr0186750874
    • Hi David,

      Can you please send your system log by going to Yes Life's More Tab > System Log and click Send.

      We have tested and verified its working fine. Can you also advice if the Microphone access is enabled for Yes Life? This is a new function in IOS which requires user to grant the mic access. You can check this iOS Settings > Privacy > Microphone, and please ensure Yes Life's toggle is enabled in Green.
